Queen Mathilde visits DVC Sacred Heart in Deinze.

Mathilde visits DVC Sacred Heart: "The queen is so involved, you can't act like that."

Queen Mathilde visited the DVC Sacred Heart in Deinze on Friday morning. The Queen made time for a chat with users and staff members and participated with great enthusiasm in a session of meditative wheelchair dancing. "This gives a lot of energy to those who dedicate themselves day in and day out to our users", says Managing Director Dirk Remy. In DVC Heilig Hart 400 children and adults with a mental disability are cared for.

In addition to wheelchair dancing, the Queen also got to know all kinds of other activities and aids that make the lives of the users more pleasant. We were very pleased that she took a moment to reflect on our own technology and was able to discover for herself the added value of Memoride for these people! A unique experience for everyone.
